Practical Baby Shower Gift
When parents are welcoming their new little one, most people want to purchase the teeny-tiny newborn or 0-3 month outfits. Yes, those are darling, but in a few weeks to a few months, those cute clothes will all be outgrown. So I like to get more practical gifts that will last through the baby’s first couple of years at least. This newborn grooming set is one of those items, and it will get years of use and be used for future babies, too.The set features four practical items: a nail clipper, an emery board, boogie grabbing tweezers, and baby scissors. The items come packed in a reusable clear plastic case. They come in that gender neutral blue-green color that is a popular choice for babies these days. The scissors have handles that are large enough for most parents’ hands, and are great for trimming teeny-tiny nails. But you also have the option of the stainless steel nail clippers. They clip tiny nails smoothly and effectively, a must so that baby doesn’t scratch herself. And whatever sharp edges either of these tools may leave, can easily be sanded down with the emery board to make those shorter nails safe for baby and her caregivers.But wait, if the baby has a disgusting boogie hanging out from its nose, instead of using the dreaded boogie-snatcher (the bulb thing that sucks out snot), you may be able to more easily remove the dried piece of snot with the tweezers which have soft, rounded ends.This set is easy enough for even clueless new dads to use it. And can still be used when the baby goes from being a baby to a toddler, to a preschooler. While parents may get more than one grooming set, this is a very portable set that can be thrown into a diaper bag and will hardly take up any room. I could have really used these tweezers with my boys, because the boogie-snatcher may work well on soft snot, but it is hard to get it to work with dried snot and wipes aren’t all that effective for removing that, either.Get this affordable, high quality set and show you care about keeping the new little one in good shape for years to come. The set definitely looks more expensive than it costs and would pair well with a brush and comb set, or a first toothbrush set.

Great starter grooming kit in a handy carrying case (may be scuffed upon arrival)
This is a great little grooming kit for any new parents. If we don’t count the carrying case, then at the current price of $6.99, that’s only about $1.75 per piece, which is a great deal as they’re all of pretty good quality. Add in the carrying case and the cost per item drops to about $1.40.The scissors and clippers are sharp and cut well. Some adults may find the finger holes on the scissors to be a bit small and therefore hard to use. I personally have no issues with the size or ease of use with these, but I have small hands while my husband, with his very large hands (his ring finger is a size 12) finds these to be too small as he can barely get his fingers through.The nail file is of a fairly fine grit and plenty long for filing sharp angles off. It is only one sided, but I’m not mad since it’s so inexpensive. The rounded end plastic tweezers I think are meant for cleaning out noses? I admit we’ve not had any need for these, but I think that’s what I’ve seen them advertised for online before and they look like they should work well for that.I did want to note that although I do like and appreciate that this comes with a travel/storage case, it did arrive very scratched up. My attached photo was taken of ours when it arrived and at an angle so you can hopefully see some of the scratches at least on one side. I didn’t particularly mind since this was for us, but I did want to mention it in case any one is thinking of getting this as a gift for someone else and wouldn’t want all the scuffs on it from the get go.

Affordable, effective must-have for baby
This 4-in-1 newborn baby grooming kit is such a great value for the price! I love that all the implements come in a carrying case with designated spots to hold each securely, allowing for safe and secure portability. The materials are bpa-free and appear to be good quality with a gender-neutral appearance. The design of the implements enable adults to easily use and maneuver the handles, while the baby ends are appropriately sized and designed for safety. The blades on both the scissors and trimmers are sharp and effective, requiring conscientious care during use. I gave the kit 4 stars because I am not sure what use I will make of the plastic tweezers and feel like they may be more of a filler piece but perhaps they will come in handy at some point. Overall a great, affordable purchase for yourself or as a gift!

Premium Quality Tools
I have purchased Lulyboo products in the past. Their products are always premium quality. This grooming kit is no exception. It is compact and ready for travel. The case does not take up any room. The quality of the tools is impressive. They feel sturdy and not flimsy. The kit feels durable, and I could imagine it lasting even to the kindergarten age.The nail clippers are sharp. I usually trim my baby girl’s nails when she is sleeping, so I can be extra careful. The clippers cut clean without tugging, but if there is an edge left uneven, I can use the scissors to trim it. The nail file is effective, but gentle at rounding out her nails. The tweezers allow me to remove lint from her belly button or toes.Overall, this kit is appealing. It is well made and very useful. It is a great value, and so easy to use. It would make a perfect baby shower gift. Most soon to be parents have no idea how much they will use this until they have a baby.
