The secret to easy and effective cloth diaper laundering lies in our specially formulated and PATENTED cloth diaper detergent.

How do I use Esembly Cloth Diapers?
The Inner organic cotton fitted diaper is the absorbent part. Snap Inner on baby then cover with Outer. The Outer diaper cover provides the waterproofing. Inner gets washed after each use, Outer can be used multiple times before laundering.
How do I clean these cloth diapers?
After a decade washing 18,000 cloth diapers a week through our busy NYC diaper service we came up with a simple 4 step wash routine and PATENTED Washing Powder. Follow our instructions and cloth diapering is as easy as 2-3 loads of laundry a week!
How many cloth diapers do I need?
For full time cloth diapering we recommend having 24 Inners and 8 Outers. For part time diapering you’ll want to have approx 12 Inners and 4 Outers. General rule of thumb is to have 3 Inners for every Outer.
Are these cloth diapers bulky? Will I need to size up my baby’s clothes?
Esembly cloth diapers come in two trim fitting sizes to take baby from birth-potty training. They are the trimmest fitting natural fibers out there and will fit beautifully under baby’s clothing with no need to size up.
Do I need to use certain diaper creams?
It’s important when cloth diapering to use only “cloth-safe” diaper creams. Cloth Safe means the products will wash out and not cause permanent staining and build up. All Esembly Skincare products are specially formulated for use with cloth diapers.

If you’re thinking about it…YES buy it!
I wanted to do cloth diapers with my first child, but could not get my husband on board. But I was finally able to convince him for our second child. I love that cloth diapers are better for the environment, for baby, and can save money in the long run. I have always loved Esembly cloth diapers, as the ingredients and quality seemed better than their competitors. But the price is also higher than other brands. I decided to try other brands and methods to keep the cost low but was having issues with leaking and finding quality material. Then I stumbled across the Esembly try it kit. I decided it couldn’t hurt to at least try it, and immediately fell in love. I now have the entire Esembly diapering ensemble – the diaper inserts, outers, nighttime liners, pail pouch, detergent, reusable wipes, and diaper rash cream. Everything is absolutely amazing!! The diapers fit perfect, we have had no blowout or leaks. They are super soft, even after several washes. Super easy to clean, especially with their detergent. Any leftover stains after washing come right out in the sun. My child has had no rashes, though I continue to put their everyday balm on at every diaper change. There are also plenty of resources on their website if you have any cloth diaper questions. Overall, I am super happy with my diapers. You get what you pay for, and I believe these are truly worth it!

Great for Trial
This little starter pack was great for me to stick my toes in the water and try out cloth diapers. Since using them (multiple times), I have found I really like them! I will be purchasing more inners & outers from them. I was really worried about using these compared to disposable diapers; however, I found these are easy to use, clean, and hold a good amount of pee. The only downside I found is the drying time. It takes a while for them to dry out because it says to not heat dry.

Good product
I love Esembly – I have had it with my daughter for a year – She still fits this size – and the washer and dryer have been fine with it – I took the plunge and purchased more after trying

I’ve clothes diapered 7kids over 14yrs. These are my favorite
I got this for my 7th baby. Now 6mo old these are my favorite diapers. I grab these first always and am slowly working on making these completely my whole stash. I have not had a single blow out, or leak through with these yet, very very absorbent. Very well made and strong stitching. Size one fit my baby around 8wks about 10lbs

Not Best for Thick Thighed Babies
Works well, but isn’t designed with thick thighs in mind. My baby has thighs for days and though around the stomach it could button about as tight as it goes, it has to stay looser to accommodate baby’s thighs.Washing soda is GREAT; would buy separately even!Diapers and the Wet/dry bag are all good quality.

So easy!
Officially a cloth diaperer after buying this kit. My only complaint is that I like the cuter patterns better than the solid colors. Makes cloth diapering not too bad!!

Nice
A bit expensive for what you receive. I order this item before committing to purchasing a set of these cloth diapers but, the kit was on back order. By the time I received it, I had already tried and received the others. I returned these items due to delay.

Not for me
Prolly user error but my son kept leaking and the diper would barly be wet. Also it’s really bulky, it’s like a big winter coat was wrapped around his button. Definitely wasn’t for me

I love the esembly diaper kit. I bought it for myself to try out with my baby, and every product works exactly as advertised and looks amazing. It’s nice to know my baby is wearing 100% cotton diapers that fit well. I would definitely buy again and order as a gift for others.

I really like the Ensembly cloth diapers system! I wish I had purchased them first before going out to try different brands but alas, trial and error when it comes to cloth diapering.;) if you don’t want the bells and whistles just order one set: 1 cover and 3 inserts. It’s about $100 which may seem steep but up front, getting your CD collection together isn’t going to be cheap.Pros; the best outer/waterproof cover I’ve experienced (after trying 5-6 other different brands), soft but durable and just great overall feel. Washes and drys well. the inner layer is super easy to clean and dry too even though it doesn’t appear to be. Snaps are pretty straight forward and stay in place. No leaks or blowouts so far (including 3 hour naps and about 5 hours at night for us)Cons:-inner diaper needs a cover to stay dry so it’s a real 2 part snap button system (first; inner diaper then outer diaper) that can be tricky with a squirmy baby/toddler. But it can work!-some people complain about the inner diaper completely SOAKED upon removal (it’s organic cotton so kind of a given). Quick fix: have a wet bag or diaper pail ready: it’s really not that bad IMO but depends on your eww level I guess!;)
