One of the few toys that actually holds my toddler’s attention
This Dino Ball Popper has been such a hit with my one-year-old! It was super easy to put together—everything just snaps in place and you’re good to go in a couple minutes. It comes with three different colored balls that you drop into the little “nest,” and then they roll down the ramp and pop out of the dino’s mouth, then go right back around and do it again. My son is obsessed with watching them loop over and over, and he loves trying to grab them before they make it back to the dinosaur. There are also a couple little spinning toys on it, which he always gravitates toward—especially the purple dragonfly one.The dino lights up, plays songs, and goes through the alphabet and numbers too, which is a nice bonus. But honestly, like most kids, mine is sold on anything with movement, lights, and music 😂One thing to note—it does require 6 AA batteries. Since the dino is constantly looping the balls, playing music, and lighting up while it’s on, it can go through batteries pretty quickly. I’d definitely recommend using rechargeable ones (that’s what I did).I’d say this is great for toddlers, but even younger babies would probably enjoy watching the lights and the balls cycle through during tummy time or while sitting up.Overall, really fun, easy to use, and keeps my little guy entertained for a good chunk of time—definitely a win in our house!

Durable, fun, and engaging. But audio could be better.
My fourteen month old loves this toy. The three rolling balls keep his attention for a surprising amount of time. He loves to grab them and then put them back on the slide. The moving butterfly, flower, rattle, and bug also help keep him engaged.Putting the toy together took a few minutes, but was not all that difficult. The instructions were very detailed and straight forward. The toy has so far held up extremely well to my little ones abuse, so I’m very pleased with its durability.Battery life has also been really good. We’ve been playing with this toy off and on for several weeks and are still on the first set of batteries. My only disappointment has been with the audio. It’s a bit robotic sounding for one. There’s, also, only three songs (one for each button). The alphabet song only goes up to letter g. There’s definitely room for improvement on this area, hence only four stars.Overall, though, it’s a fun and engaging toy, gas great battery life, and is surprisingly durable

A lot of assembly and six batteries required, but this toy promises to be a lot of fun!
This is an amazing toy, once you get it put together and insert the 6 batteries! It is visually and auditorily entertaining, and toddlers are bound to love it! It is recommended for ages 6 months and up, but I’m guessing the little ones will mainly enjoy all the sounds, colors and motions, and will require some supervision so they don’t deconstruct it! I confess I haven’t put it all together yet…I will pull in one of my adult sons to help me assemble it and to make sure all the pieces are firmly attached. Thankfully it comes with a big sheet of instructions and a QR code that we can use to access a video showing how to assemble it correctly. I’m not crazy about having to replenish 6 AA batteries at a time but hopefully they will last a while. I can store it in the spare room and bring it out when the little ones arrive–I’m always trying to make Grandma’s house a fun place to visit with new surprises, and this one should be a lulu, judging from the videos of the children in the ad!

Buy this toy! It’s a rawr-ing good time!
This dinosaur ball popper toy is such a hit! It’s colorful, engaging, and keeps little ones entertained while helping with hand-eye coordination and cause-and-effect learning. Easy to use, sturdy, and perfect for toddlers — my little nephew was hooked right away. Great educational toy that actually holds their attention!

Cute Idea, But Loud Motor and Inconsistent Performance
I really wanted to love this toy because it looked cute and the concept is so fun. Unfortunately, it was a miss for me. It’s possible I received a defective unit, but my experience wasn’t great.First off, the motor for the fan is very loud. Honestly a bit obnoxious, and it actually startled my toddler instead of drawing them in to play. The main feature is supposed to be continuous ball popping, but ours was inconsistent. About half the time, the balls didn’t even pop out and just stayed stuck in the tube. The audio quality also leaves a lot to be desired. It sounds a bit tinny, and despite the description mentioning 30+ songs and sayings, it really only seemed like there were about 3 repeating ones. The different audio modes also didn’t work. For the price point, I expected better performance and quality. It’s a cute idea and has potential, but based on my experience, it didn’t live up to expectations.

Fun!
Thi is super cute and fun for younger toddlers. It was ok to put together and takes 6 batteries, which is a lot. It is built well and durable. My just turned 3 year old grandson liked it for about 5 minutes and then was on to the next thing. My 2 year old grand daughter was mesmerized by it and did have fun playing/watching it. I would say it is more for 2 and under.

Great for child development and entertainment
This is a surprisingly effective little toy for both entertainment, but also as an aid for milestone development for young children. The bright colors are eye catching. The song variety helps with learning the phonetic alphabet and with early counting skill. The balls themselves are the perfect size for a small child to grasp while being too large for them to try and put into their mouths. The rolling, moving action of the ball popper pushes children to want to follow them and grab while they’re in motion, helping with finger/hand dexterity. The popper also gives an enticing focal point for children younger than a year to work on sitting up and supporting themselves so that they can play with the toy.All in all, this and other ball poppers are a must have to aid in child development and to just serve as general entertainment for self-playtime.
