Secure an Area
This is a wonderful item to have to keep a dog’s apart.Dogs in an area.I’m sure it worked for kids to , but i’m not a kid oriented. I’m really pleased with the price of this.The sturdiness of this user friendly gate is a real prize 😀 I’m so glad I have two of them just in case I want to block off an area. Thank y’all for this wonderful item

Nice and sturdy with multiple ways to hang
I am taking care of my son’s dog for a few months and this gate has been a life saver. The dog can’t get into the area that she is not allowed. The size is fitting for a true Dalmatian (medium/large dog). The quality of this gate is made from strong plastic. They include several ways to install. In the beginning, I opted to use the spring loading method but found that to be a bit cumbersome for me. I finally screwed it into the wall using the included mounts and that has made my life so much more easier (for me to access). It is a good safety gate since it keeps my room off access to the dog. I have had it up for over a month, with no issues. It is sturdy and gets the job done. For me this has been a good value for the money.

Worked for cats
We used it to separate our cats when we adopted a kitten. He eventually was able to jump it, but it was great for facilitating initial face to face meetings between them. It was easy to install and felt durable. It did not ruin our walls and was pretty cheap all things considered.We will keep it to use when we have a baby or toddler in the house

Durability questionable
Wasn’t as easy to use at first, the locking lever is tricky to manuever. Eventually I got the hang of it, and worked well. Sturdiness was decent despite my son hanging on it a few times. Nevertheless, it broke when trying to secure it one night. In use for only about 3 months.

Sturdy Gate, But Didn’t Fit Our Space
This gate can’t be adjusted precisely and has to be moved notch by notch. Because of how it tightens, it inevitably puts pressure on both walls. Over time, this caused the molding to separate and cracks to form, which gradually got worse. I eventually had no choice but to return it.The gate itself is very sturdy and well-made, but it didn’t fit our space.

The item was defective. Part of the gate would not lock in place because it was loose. I think it probably got damaged due to shipping. The product of itself is good and I would prefer a replacement. But it is a huge hassle because I will have to return the item myself.
