Overall pleased. The pros outweigh the cons
Pros and cons. Just like every thing else in life.Pros: Easy to use. Does a good job. Very gentle. Leaves edges smooth. Quiet enough. Ample run time.Cons: Messy. Takes longer than manual. Very long press to start.I have the manual nail clippers set by this brand and it’s a wonderful set. This electric trimmer is a great addition to the set. They make quality products.I love how smooth it leaves the nail edges . This is a little more time consuming than standard clippers but you save time by not having to buff out the sharp edges. The debris catcher does catch some but not all. However, the mess it does make is soft dust like shavings. I recommend placing something on your lap to catch the shavings or use outdoors. This product is great for anyone that has arthritic hands. I have arthritis in addition to already having very limited use of my left hand ( due to a dog attack) but I can manage this electric trimmer with no problem. These trimmers are so gentle, I don’t have to worry about accidentally cutting my skin. I highly recommend this trimmer. It’s not very loud, according to my scale of judging noise. I can watch TV without the noise interruption and it doesn’t scare my dogs . I’m not sure how long the run time is on a full charge but I used it for a total of 12 minutes = 6 minutes per hand. and it ran fine without overheating or bogging down. The price is reasonable .

Safe, Easy, and Perfect for Kids to Use on Their Own
This electric nail clipper has been a great addition to our routine. What I like most is how safe and easy it is to use—the design makes it very hard to accidentally cut too deep or hurt yourself.My kids (both under 10) are able to use it on their own, which says a lot. There’s no fear of nicks or cuts like with traditional clippers, and it gives me peace of mind knowing they can handle it safely.It’s also lightweight, portable, and the pen-style design makes it comfortable to hold and control. The rechargeable feature is a nice bonus too.

Not the best
I really like the design of this trimmer. It’s easy to hold and operate as it’s like a pen. Especially like that has the option to be used in your right and left hands for operation. However, the build is on the poor side. When I tried removing the cover, the whole thing came apart. Seems to be cheap construction. I put it back together, but it’s not very sturdy. Also, it’s quite loud in comparison to another electric nail trimmer that I have. It does trim well but not the best. Had to move over the nail several times to get a good trim. Hoped this would have been a great item, but it’s not.

Electric nail clipper for those who want to reduce risk and mess
I have cut my nails with manual nail clippers all my life. I never thought I needed an electric nail clipper. I still don’t know that I do. But this does work reasonably well with some caveats.First off, what’s the point? Don’t manual cutters do fine? They do. But this one address two issue with manual cutters: 1) It’s easy to accidentally cut your cuticle or skin; and 2) The cut nail often flies off to who-knows-where.This cutter grinds down the nail quickly, and the cuttings stay in the clipper (easily removed by opening the “door” on the other side. I found the cutting to be OK for fingernails, although it took time to get used to how to get an even grind across the nail (and it’s useless if you have a nail that’s already cut down and you accidentally chip it and want to even that out. This requires a bit of exposed nail to work).I found this to be really inconvenient to use with toenails and almost impossible with thick nails. I gave up on that.So…If you want this for fingernails, your nails are long enough to push them through the slot, and you otherwise have issues cutting your cuticles or else hate the flying nail bits…go for this. It’s fine. But it’s not for everyone, and even if it’s for you, you’re still gonna need to do your toenails with a standard clipper.

This 2026 NEW pen-shaped nail clipper is so clever! Super portable and the stronger motor trims cleanly without snagging. Love that it’s Type-C rechargeable – no more hunting for batteries. Safe and gentle for baby, but works great for kids and adults too. Quiet, easy to hold, and perfect for travel. If you want a modern upgrade to nail clippers, get this. Highly recommend!

Works well, quickly files nails, leaves them smooth..
Works well, the part inside moves quickly to file down your nails. It has different settings for speed and also which hand your using, my nails felt smooth after without the ragged feel so that is a huge positive. The nail filings collect in the area with the plastic window and you open it up to clean it. It does not hurt or accidentally snag you at all so I feel it is safe for anyone to use including little kids. The opening is not big enough to do your toenails though. It comes with the USB cord to recharge it and a plastic case for storage. Overall it is a good design and easy to use and transport.

Safer to use
I was a little unsure about switching from regular nail clippers to these electric nail clippers, but after using it a few times, I’ve really come around to it. The biggest thing I like is how safe it feels as there’s no worry about accidentally cutting too deep or nicking your skin, which is especially nice if you’re using it on kids or just want a little extra peace of mind. There is definitely a learning curve at first. It felt a bit awkward compared to traditional clippers, and it took me a few tries to figure out the best angle and pressure. But once I got the hang of it, it became much easier and more comfortable to use. I also like the pen-shaped design because it’s easy to hold and makes it convenient to throw in a bag if needed. Its a great option if you’re looking for something safer and a little more modern, just be prepared to give yourself a little time to adjust to it.
