Strong magnet, easy installation, good value
These magnetic cabinet locks were super easy to install with the installation tool, they stick well, and to get 4 of them for the price is a great deal. We put 2 on the cabinets under the bathroom vanity and 2 on a wardrobe cabinet in our bedroom that we keep the adult items in. That wardrobe cabinet has a thick door and the magnetic mechanism unlocks perfectly through it. There is a latch on the locks to turn the babyproofing on/off by engaging or disengaging the part that catches. It works well and having that versatility is a huge bonus so the magnetic key isn’t needed every time you open the cabinet. There is also an adhesive-mounted magnetic dock to hold the magnet key in. I love that. Losing the key is difficult when you have a designed parking spot for it that guarantees it’s out of baby’s reach and not mixed in with other clutter.My son is just 6 months old and starting to learn to crawl, but he’s already fast, strong, and destructive. I’ve watched him dismantle his bouncy chair while he was sitting in it. He makes quick work of 5 point safety harnesses. He only has one tooth, but huge chunks are missing from his crib. If you have a gentle child, these cabinet locks will be impenetrable and turn your cabinets into Fort Knox. I, however, birthed a behemoth with the spirit of a wrecking ball so I am unsure if something that doesn’t bolt into the cabinet will hold for long. If they don’t hold up, I’ll be back to edit my review with an update on adhesive durability later. For now, the locks are great!

Easy install if you watch listing video
These cabinet locks really do the trick of keeping little people, pets (especially mischievous cats), and even nosey adults out of any cupboard you don’t want them getting into.The locks require a magnetic key to open, unlike the ones that can be partially opened and then manually released.These are easy to install if you watch the video provided in the listing (the written instructions are pretty awful), and they are completely hidden. So they don’t detract from the look of your cupboards/drawers.The adhesive sticks well. I can’t speak to its longevity yet, but even if I have to replace the adhesive fairly often, I’ll still be happy with this option.I plan to order another set or two, both so I can pet-proof some additional areas, but also so I’ll have extra keys. If I have any complaint, it’s that a second key should be included (or offered as an option). Otherwise, I think these are a vast improvement over the other traditional style.

I like the concept. It’s an effective deterrent against toddlers, casual thieves and busybodies.There are actually two magnets, one is the “key” and another magnet is in the locks. This provides enough magnetism to work through nearly two inch thick wood. Any decent magnet will substitute for the “key” if its lost.It needs two flat, square mating surfaces that meet properly. If a drawer’s frame has an additional piece of wood on its front, things get tricky. Study the video. Even then, without testing the actual situation, it’s hard to be certain it can be attached properly.Adhesives can fail in time, so I’m drilling a couple small holes in both parts for small screws, to permanently mount a lock. Asking price for the 4-pack was $6.99.

Good for baby-proofing
This is my review of the AILUOQI baby proofing magnetic cabinet locks. I ordered and received a 4 pack with everything as pictured on the product page. The user guide provided clear instructions; however, I learned more from watching the video on the product page. AILUOQI should consider adding a QR code to the printed user manual with a link to play their video. These economical, durable latches are still preventing our 3-year-old from getting into cupboards we want to keep off limits. We have the magnet lock and a magnet mounted flashlight stored up high and only use them to unlock the latches when he’s not looking. The included self-adhesive key holder offers more places to hide the key. I’m glad the latches come with a button to deactivate the lock when the child is away.
