Super cute and useful. I’ve only used it 2x but the temp is correct and it’s easy to read in both Celsius and Fahrenheit.

I got this baby bath thermometer as a gift for someone with a newborn, and it’s one of those rare items that’s both genuinely useful and genuinely fun. The cute baby seal shape makes it a bath toy, and it floats perfectly while clearly displaying the water temperature on its digital screen in Fahrenheit (with easy switching to Celsius). The reading is large and easy to see at a glance, which takes a lot of the guesswork out of bath time. I especially appreciate the safety-focused battery compartment — it requires a coin (like a quarter) to open, preventing little hands from accessing it. That small detail shows thoughtful design. The seal is nicely made, feels smooth and durable in water, and hasn’t shown any fogging or malfunction after several uses. It strikes a wonderful balance between playful toy and practical tool. It’s also very easy to use because it automatically read the temperature of the water.Overall, this is a high-quality, dual-purpose bath essential that makes an excellent gift for new parents. It brings peace of mind with a smile.

I use this every other day
I feel like parents get a good sense of how warm the bathwater is over time, but I sometimes surprise myself. What I would find comfortable on a winter’s day might read over 100°F and probably be way too hot for a child. I am glad to use a floating thermometer like this KISSONE unit so I can be sure I am putting my child in a safe bath. I like that it has both hot and cold alerts and that the display is large. I don’t really think the tenth place is necessary, but having that extra information doesn’t hurt, I suppose. I am glad it has a manual as well as automatic on and off. My current thermometer has no manual switch, and sometimes it’s a struggle to “wake” it up. I don’t bother checking how long it takes to turn off, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was unnecessarily draining the battery. I think the seal shape is pretty common for these products, but I find this one a little creepy. So far, it seems durable and has great functionality. I think the price is spot on, so it’s a decent value for money. So far, it doesn’t seem like water is leeching into the battery, so it must be doing a good job at being waterproof.

So far, I really like this cute seal bath thermometer from KISSONE. I had an older model from them and my main complaint has been addressed with this newer model. It’s great in my opinion.The older one had an auto-off function that took a while and went through a good bit of battery while waiting for the 15 or 40 minutes to tick by. This newer model has the ability to turn it off if I press and hold the plus button for 2 seconds. So I can turn this one off after we’re done using it, saving on battery life.The design is cute, the battery door is secured with a latch and twist to open door, and so far there have been no signs of water leaking into the battery compartment.I like that it’s easy to change between Celsius and Fahrenheit, and that there are red and blue indicator lights to help alert me if things are too cold or too hot in the bath. I also like that the high temperature warning can be adjusted so I can know when it’s gotten out of my kiddo’s personal comfort zone.The instructions were easy to follow, but I noticed the print was a little more blurry on this new instruction set compared to the older pamphlet. Everything was less sharp on the newer instruction set, from pictures to text.So far, I have tested this thermometer with my older KISSONE bath thermometer and another brand thermometer, and this one shows identical temperature readings to the older KISSONE model. It is also more specific than my other brand’s model, and I appreciate the decimal reading compared to the rounded numbers of the other brand’s design.Time will tell how long the waterproofing of the battery compartment lasts, but so far I like this design the best of the others I have tried.

Good quality material with good durability and a lovely design. When placed in the water the readout on the front of the thermometer gives a good clear accurate digital readout of the temperature, if the water is too cold there is a flashing blue light, if too hot there is a flashing red light
