EASY BABYWEARING: Keep your newborn, preemie, or infant close for snuggles. The womb-like baby wrap also supports easy breastfeeding on the go. Sizes may vary from regular sizes, so check the size chart. (If under 8 lbs., consult a healthcare professional)
FRUSTRATION FREE: This infant carrier is the no-wrap wrap! With no rings, belts, buckles, or excess fabric, just slip the sling over your head like a t-shirt, and the Baby K’tan baby wrap is good to go.
COOL COMFORT: Half jersey knit and half mesh knit, the 100% natural cotton baby carrier allows improved air circulation when the weather warms up. Just rotate the sling’s loops to change from cozy to cool for optimal comfort.
UNIQUE SIZING: We are a sized baby carrier, making it unique – like an article of clothing, the adult has to pick their correct size. With the correct size, there is no adjusting needed; it is ready-to-wear. One size does NOT fit all – it is uniquely sized for the individual adult wearing the baby.
HIP HEALTHY: The wrap carrier’s natural seated position is approved as hip-healthy by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute. The infant holder’s unique double-loop design and one-way stretch keep the baby securely in place.
MULTIPLE POSITIONS: The infant carrier wrap allows the best position for different ages. Use it as a sling swaddle wrap for newborn babies & preemies or an upright seated carrier for toddlers up to 35 lbs. (Under 8 lbs., consult a medical professional)

Such a lifesaver with a cuddly newborn
UPDATED AFTER A YEAR:Original post:My little guy went through a phase early on where he wanted to only sleep on me and hated the car seat. He seemed a little small for the Ergo baby, which frankly hurt my c section scar. The k’tan was a lifesaver. I could never figure out those baby wraps or slings, and this guy takes all the guess work out of the operation. The Breeze was also nice and cool for our trip down to Florida last spring. For kids that like to be held close, this item is a must. It’s cool enough for daily use and super easy.Pro tip: it will stretch out, but I would just throw it into the wash and then the dryer on low setting and it would go right back into place.I must say that I rarely use it now that our baby is five months old. I’ve effectively switched to the Ergo, as it’s better for long-haul hiking and has a sun shade.UPDATED REVIEW:I still love the K’tan. It has been by far the easiest baby wrap I’ve ever used.Pros:- baby closeness: I think wraps and slings are the best way to keep a newborn close and cuddly, but I could never figure them out. The K’tan takes all of the guesswork out of it.- ease of use: If the Moby makes you break out in a sweat just looking at it, but you still want to wrap your baby, this is the thing for you! If I could do it, so could you.- material: I love how breathable the material is. I could choose between the mesh side on a warmer day, or use the solid cloth on a cooler day.- Color: The gray is very neutral and doesn’t show spit-up stains.- Safety: I felt like my son was very secure in this wrap.- Great for naps on the go: My little one as a newborn did not take reliable naps on his own, but would sleep like a champ wrapped up in this on the go (and sometimes even if I sat down)Cons:- one size does not fit all, unfortunately. But that’s the tradeoff you have to make for the ease of use of this carrier.- Time of use: I will say that by the time my son was really able to go forward-facing in the Ergo360, we preferred the more structured carrier with ergonomic support. I’m quite small and not the strongest, so additional support felt better as my baby grew. That being said, it was a lifesaver for months!!

Took some time to grow into, but worth it!
Let me just start by saying that I never review anything, but I love this carrier so much I had to share my experience. Even if it doesn’t work for you at first, it doesn’t hurt to hold onto it because as your baby grows you can use other positions that may work for you better.I read a lot of the reviews here on Amazon on many of the carriers and went with this one because I preferred something that I wouldn’t have to wrap around my body 100 times. Also since it’s summer now I thought the mesh would be perfect. I was right! The fabric is light so it’s not overbearingly hot. (I haven’t used it in the heat of summer yet, maybe the hottest temp was 80F.) It’s soft and comfortable to wear. And it’s very easy to put on, if you go to the website they have some videos that help make it a little more clear.I’m pretty petite, about 5’3″ and 125 lbs after having my baby girl. So I went with the XS size. My little girl was born at 6lbs 7 oz, however I started using this when she was about 7.5 lbs. I was a little wary because she was under the 8 lb limit but I had to do something because she wanted to be held all the time. The Baby K’tan was a lifesaver. I could actually get stuff done. Only caveat was that since she was still small sometimes I kept having to adjust the back loop because I felt her head wasn’t high enough on my chest, and she would slide down. She couldn’t fall out but things just felt a little loose. This was while she was in the Newborn Kangaroo hold. I would sometimes need to use an arm as an extra support as well. But having only one arm free is still better than having none! The fabric would stretch out after a few uses, but I would just throw it in the wash and dryer as others have stated. There was about one week when I actually felt she fit perfectly in the kangaroo hold, and I didn’t have to support her much, but she outgrew that and things got a little tight.Fast forward to my daughter at 8 weeks old. Haven’t weighed her yet but she must be about 10 lbs. I started putting her in the Hug Position and it is so much better! I feel totally confident in leaving both of my arms free to do things. Like walking to the grocery store and coming home with both bags in both hands. As for the little one, she loves it. She could be screaming while I put her in, but once she is in there snuggled up close to my chest she calms down and usually goes to sleep in 5 minutes. She’s taken 2 hour naps in this thing! I can’t wait until she gets bigger and I can start trying some of the other positions.

    Meh. Didn’t work for me.
I like that there are so many positions you can use this along with. Howeve, I found it a little cumbersome to put on and hurt my upper back and shoulders to use. It always seemed like baby was just slipping down and curling up in kangaroo hold. Pulling on the loop on the back, as suggested did little to fix this problem. Also baby and I would get too hot with use. The ‘Breeze’ design did little for airflow. I personally like the Baby Bjorn Original the best out of all the carriers my husband and I tried. It is lightweight, functional, very easy to use and ergonomically designed for better support.

My baby preferred this when she was a newborn because it was like she was being hugged. Now she doesn’t like it as much (she’s 4 months) because she is a bit squished. I don’t love the look of the perforated fabric, I recommend not getting the “breeze” version. It’s sort of tacky looking.

One of my best baby gear purchases. I got a lot of use out of this. It gave me some much needed hands-free time to get stuff done around the house and my baby loved being carried around in it. My baby is on the larger size so we moved to a more structured carrier (the Beco Gemini) at around 3 months when he was about 16 lbs. I’m petite (5 feet tall, ~100 lbs and a ~27 inch waist at 3 months postpartum) and the XS worked well. I can’t comment on whether the mesh “Breeze” fabric is cooler than the original as I only purchased this one, but I did find it got hot/sweaty at times… for the most part, though, it was fairly cool and comfortable. The K’tan held up well to multiple washing/drying cycles. Also, once you get a hang of how to put it on, it is quite easy to use.

I received a K’tan wrap for my shower, and fell in love with it during the first few weeks of my daughter’s birth. She loved it, and I enjoyed being able to carry her around. However, I started getting really bad back pain. After doing some research and talking with some moms, I discovered I was wearing a size too big (medium, versus small). The website had me marked as a medium, but in the fine print below due to my height (5’2″) I should have been wearing a size down. My friend has a small and it fits me great. Our daughter loved being in mine so much, my husband purchased one to be able to carry our daughter around and calm her down. The breeze fabric is lightweight and airy, and my husband loves it.
