How to clear clog milk duct with Bumblebee pump?
Step 1: Fill the pump with 3/4 warm water, add a spoonful of Epsom salt. Step 2: Stir or cover, shake until it dissolves. Step 3: Fold flange, squeeze bottle gently to make the water rise. Step 4: Bend over, place nipple in the water. Attach the flange to the breast. Leave on for 10-15 minutes.

An easy way to collect extra milk
I have been able to use this to supplement the milk I’m saving for my baby but I don’t feel it replaces a regular breast pump. If you only need a few bottles for an occasional feed this product is perfect, provided you use it regularly. I would recommend this to anyone though because it’s easy to use and easy to clean. Any mom that needs to save some milk can benefit from this product.This device depends solely on your body to “let down” so that it can collect the milk. After using this I am able to hand express more milk, so I don’t depend on it as more than a collection device rather than an actual pump. The most I’ve gotten at one time was 3 oz, but most of the time I get about an ounce. The markings on the outside of this are WAY off, so make sure you have another container with accurate markings. I did have to read other reviews to get the best instructions on how to use this kind of “pump” so I definitely recommend seeking out as much information as you can because the instructions that come with this device aren’t great. The best way to use this is to fold the outer edge back, squeeze the bulb, place over your nipple, then flip the outer edge back over *before* releasing the squeeze on the bulb. As it draws your milk out the sides will return to it’s original shape and then you can break the suction when removing to save the milk. I also recommend using a lanyard and a small hair elastic as a way to keep the device from falling, especially if you are nursing your baby on the opposite side. A good grab or kick can break the suction and if it falls off you could lose the milk you collected.

Fascinating and really works
I heard about these at the hospital and dismissed the thought. During late night sessions, I started doing research and was intrigued. Found this pump to be the best price with the cover, stopper and carrying bag. It is amazing how it works. Unfortunately, I do not let down an overwhelming amount, but every little bit is something! I think this is a great gift for any nursing mom. I did read lots of reviews and watch videos. I fold over the top prior to placing on breast to help get the best suction. The stopper does work and I have used the cover as a resting plate so the pump does not tip after I have taken it off. I like the design on it. Measurement seems close but does not exactly match up to my storage bottles. Does not deter its usage.

Amazing!
Less expensive than the name brand ones and honestly works just as well. Love that it comes with a stopper because I can’t tell you how many times I spilled with name brand one just walking to the kitchen with it. Also comes with a little dust bag so you can keep handy after washing and not worry about anything getting into your liquid gold.

Easy to use for sure
This weird egg looking pump sure is a game changer for pumping. It’s literally a non electric hands free pump. I can breastfeed and pump at the same time and it’s strong for suction too. I even pump driving down the highway lol I get it on and pull my shirt down and good to go. But when the suction let’s go you better grab it because it will let go all of a sudden and you don’t realize it sometimes. It’s super convenient and easy to take with you because it’s so small and you don’t have a bunch of little pieces to clean or make sure you don’t forget that handle to pump like a regular manual one. It continuously pulls the milk out too.

I use this while my babe nurses, it’s held up better than haaka brand. I like that it’s small and easy to use , my babe tries to kick it offHas good suction for its sizeHowever sometimes the stopper falls off (hence why i did 4 starts over 5) as I rely on this to make sure my milk doesn’t spill everywhere (it has once or twice)Comes with a cute little bag too

Better than the haakaa and quicker than the spectra!
Love this “pump”! I had just been using it to catch leaking milk on one breast handsfree during nursing in lieu of a beast shell, but I actually find I get more milk in less time by using the bumblebee on one side while nursing on the other than I did combined while pumping both breasts on my spectra electric double pump! I also have a haakaa, but the bumblebee is my favorite of this style. It is slightly lighter, more comfortable to be suctioned to, and included a lid and plug to close the pump with (haakaa came with neither for more $). My haakaa frequently loses its seal with my breast and risks falling off/spilling, but my bumblebee almost always stays on. The haakaa has a bit stronger overall suction and gets slightly more milk than the bumblebee each time (up to an extra10ml maybe), but the extra suction is also slightly uncomfortable. I’ll happily sacrifice the extra milk for more comfort and being confident my bumblebee won’t fall off and spill milk!

Has it’s pros and cons
I really like this product overall but it has it’s downfalls. The biggest problem would be that the measurements (in ounces at least) are WAY off. I poured 2oz into this product and then into a bottle, two different kinds of bottles to be sure, and they read significantly less than 2oz. I believe it was actually only around 1.25oz. The other downfall is that the lid is very hard to put on and has caused me many spills. The ball stopper is much more effective. And finally the last thing I do not like is that everything sticks to this product! Any kind of lint or dust or animal hair you may have on your shirt when using it will most definitely stick to the outside and it’s so hard to get off, and in the process of trying to get dog hairs off of it they have gotten into my milk and then I feel that it’s wasted because that’s obviously gross! And if you put it in the carrying bag it comes with you will have the same problem…On the plus side, this is a very convient product. It’s easily portable. It holds a good amount of milk. And I like that it has a groove for easy pouring.
