Great car seat
I did a lot of research on car seats and went with this option because of the excellent safety rating and compatibility with my stroller. Even better, that it was on sale for about $100 off. In terms of use, the car seat isn’t the lightest but manageable. Manual was very straightforward – base and car seat were easy to use after reviewing the instructions. My one complaint would be that the button release (to unbuckle the seatbelt) and the button to loosen the straps require a bit of force to release. Since my hands/wrists are more sensitive after carrying a newborn, I sometimes end up needing to use two thumbs to release the buckles which is not ideal. Still, I’m happy with my purchase and would probably buy it again if I had to do it over.

Light, easy use & installation!
Love this car seat. Bought an adapter for it to fit my stroller. Being a first time mom this was an easy install into vehicle for me, has been easy to use and the biggest draw for me was the light weight of it and safety ratings so it was nice to have it be great once receiving! It took me a minute to realize what all the buttons did on it being I had never used a car seat in my life but figured it out by using fairly quickly. Would buy again!

Good choice for taller families
I just installed the toddler seat, and I already miss my Liing. The installation is fairly confusing at first, but once you understand it, it’s VERY rigid. The seat itself was comfortable, we sometimes had to take the baby on rides in this seat either in the stroller or in the car so she’d sleep. My baby came out average but very quickly ended up in the 90th percentile for height growth (common in both families to be tall) and this seat has been good to her. In a world full of stuff meant for Hobbits, this was a rare product sized to fit our family.Only critique I’d give is there’s a component somewhere that eventually developed a rattle.Fits a 2024 Tesla Model X Long Range with the 7-seat layout decently well. Limits the seat in front moving back by a small margin that only matters if they’re a claustrophobe (which we have one of in the family, and he was annoyed he couldn’t slide the seat aaaaalllllll the way to the end stop).

Factory Seal Broken
Box came with the factory seal broken and resealed with packing tape and a hole in the box, not comfortable using.

Additional base impossible to buy – seat worthless without it
Additional base is impossible to buy. If you are planning to use the seat with more than one car, another base is a must.Clek says that you can use the seat without a base, but that completely negates the safety features in the base – rigid LATCH and load leg – which makes the seat score so highly in safety tests and justify the high price.Clek also says you can check their site daily to see if the base comes back in stock. Don’t know about anyone else but checking a clanky website daily with a screaming infant while trying to maintain a living and some sense of sanity is not something I want to be doing after dishing out serious cash for the seat. Their site has a notify when in stock feature which failed to provide restock notifications for us, so I wouldn’t count on that either. It would probably send you something four months later giving you two leftover months of usability.So if you have multiple cars, stay away from from this Cleck seat. And if you already bought it try to cancel/return it if you can.
