Just what I was looking for! And then some!
I cannot say enough good things about these blankets! They are amazing! I live in Phoenix, Arizona where it’s already gotten up to 118 this summer so I was looking for something lightweight and comfortable to wrap my baby in or to place over his car seat to protect him from the sun while we’re out and to use as a nursing cover. These blankets are perfect! And they’re so big! My son is almost 5 months old and I can still swaddle him in them if I wanted to (he cannot stand being swaddled anymore). I use them to cover him up at night and he stays warm but not too hot. They’ve been washed so many times but have held up great and are so soft now and the patterns look so beautiful in person. These are all around the perfect swaddling/everything else blanket for babies. Especially if you live somewhere hot.

I bought two farm-themed swaddle blankets from Amazon, this “Hudson Brand” — sold and shipped by Amazon– and “Imagine” brand– sold by Planet Wise, shipped by Nikki’s Diapers.I love them both for different reasons so I’m writing one review comparing them.This “Hudson Brand” swaddler is cotton muslin. It is light, airy, and guaze-like. It is see-thru and doesn’t have any stretch. The whimsical pattern has soft, muted colors. It is very large- at 46″ x 46″– and is perfect for swaddling, cuddling, tummy time, etc. This one comes in a three pack with a blue gingham one and one with red tractors. One downside is that the larger weave on this snags easily so be careful around your jewelry!The “Imagine” brand swaddler is bamboo rayon, it’s soft and almost silky. It is not see-thru, and does have a slight stretch. The cartoonish pattern is bright and colorful. It is also very large– at 50″ x 45″– and is perfect for a car seat or nursing cover, snuggling, etc.

Great for swaddling newborns
When I first took these blankets out of the package, I was surprised because they seemed a bit scratchy / stiff. However, I think they are softening up since being used and washed a few times now. They are quite lightweight, but they still seem to be warm enough for my newborn girls to sleep in. They’re not a stretchy as some other swaddle blankets, but they create a great swaddle – snug, smooth and perfectly tight. Great for snuggling newborns, or even catching spit up or milk dribbles in a pinch 🙂 Great swaddle blankets overall. I gave four stars in total just because they’re not quite as soft as I expected.

These are a must have!!
I cannot tell you enough how much we love these blankets. Our daughter was swaddled every night to sleep in these for 9 months and they look as good as the day we bought them! They are large enough to swaddle her tightly and they are bright and gorgeous in person, way prettier than many of the other swaddle blankets that I see. They are a lot more affordable than many of the other muslin swaddle blankets as well. These were awesome to have on hand. Perfect for breastfeeding in the summer outside, they are lightweight enough to not make the baby sweat and large enough to cover me better then a nursing cover. I would push one corner of the swaddle under my bra strap and it would hold on perfectly. These are a must have baby item!! We had our daughters newborn pictures taken in one of these because it was so beautiful, and are saving it as a keepsake for her.

Excelente calidad y además al mejor precio que pude encontrar en cualquier sitio. Tamaño perfecto, muy suaves y los estampados bonitos. Tienen muchos usos aparte de envolver al bebé, desde trapo, cubierta para lactancia o incluso como cambiador si lo olvidaste.

The number one attribute for a baby muslin swaddle is that it should be super soft. But this product fails on this attribute. In fact it can be considered rough for the newborn’s skin. Hence my 1-star rating. I would not recommend this product for babies.

Perfect for a cozy swaddle …. Although it’s a bit expensive it’s the right size and material
