It works!
This is the perfect lightweight and unscented lotion for my little one’s dry skin. It goes on smooth and silky, and leaves no greasy feeling. My only gripe with this product at all is the pump. The top is a bit sharp, and it also pops off very easily. My now one year old has pulled the top off while I am trying to apply it quite easily several times and it makes me so nervous! Other than application time, it is kept well out of reach.

First — this is smaller than I initially expected. The size is clearly listed (7 oz), so that’s on me for not paying closer attention, but it is on the smaller side for the price.That said… this has been genuinely excellent for sensitive skin flare-ups.I don’t have eczema, but I do get random contact dermatitis patches, and I’ve been using this as a targeted spot treatment for about a month whenever something pops up. It has been lovely.The texture is thick and rich — a true emollient consistency — but it doesn’t just sit on top of the skin. It blends in well and absorbs without leaving a greasy film. Completely fragrance-free, which is critical for reactive skin.It feels moisturizing and calming almost immediately and has helped reduce irritation without stinging or making things worse (which some “sensitive” products still do).Would I use this as a full-body daily lotion? Probably not at this price point.But as a targeted treatment for flare-ups? This Kyte Baby lotion is a solid, gentle option that effectively moisturizes and protects a baby’s skin. While it is fragrance-free, it leaves the skin smelling naturally clean.The reason I’m removing one star is that the lotion feels sticky when first applied and takes some time to fully absorb. Our child is incredibly active, making diaper and clothing changes quite a challenge. After applying this lotion, the baby jumps, rolls, and crawls everywhere; because of the initial stickiness, small specks of dust or hair tend to stick to their skin.Overall, this is a high-quality lotion with great ingredients, though it does feel a bit pricey considering that the size of the bottle is small.

Nice and simple lotion
Simple fragrance free lotion with a nice pump bottle. My kids super sensitive skin does not react with this lotion which is good. It does do a good job of moisturizing the skin but it is a bit more watery compared to the thicker paste. This lotion is a bit more lightweight compared to others but it is a nice everyday lotion. Great for all skin tones and conditions.

Great for dry, sensitive skin
I’ve been using this lotion on both my baby and my 4 year old who suffers from moderate/severe eczema. It’s not a miracle worker for the 4yo because her skin is so inflamed and difficult to heal, but it has been nice to use for her in a pinch and it doesn’t irritate or sting like some creams do. Now for my baby, it’s been AMAZING! He’s showing some signs of early eczema, but I’m telling myself it’s just the dry winter air. I apply this at night before bed and his small flares are gone by morning. I can’t say enough good things about this cream for dry, sensitive skin.

Good but at What Cost?
This is a good product. It goes on a baby’s skin, has ingredients I recognize without any distracting scents or residue. But for the price, I can’t justify spending this much for so little. Yes it’s a good brand but where are the ingredients sourced? Is it organic? No. Is it tested on animals? Probably not. Is it vegan? Surprisingly, yes.And it’s hypoallergenic. So yes it’s a good product (without any third party testing to verify Kyte’s claims), you just don’t get much of it for your money. And I can’t understand why the price tag is so high.

Light weight cream
I love this. My little man always gets little eczema flair ups on his legs. This is perfect to apply after a bath and it’s really helped to soften the rough itchy skin he gets. It’s a thinner lotion. Nothing like those toothpaste thick creams I have gotten in the past. It absorbed quickly and doesn’t leave a residue, but I also put his pants on right away so he doesn’t scratch directly on his skin. It’s really helped with the tiny little itchy dry patches on his legs and tummy.The packaging for this is also so good. It’s smaller than I was expecting, but it does list how many oz it is so…. It’s got a pump and the spout twists to lock! I love that!
