Good Deal for a One-Hand-Fold Travel Stroller
This review is for the Lightweight Travel Stroller, Airplane-Friendly, One Hand Fold Stroller. At the current price hovering around $100+, I think this is a good deal. Obviously, you aren’t going to get the quality of a fancy, celebrity-loved travel stroller costing $400+, but you will be getting the same basic functionality for about 1/4 to 1/3 of the price.This stroller does perform the one-had fold by pressing a button and a lever and bending it forward. There’s a latch on the side to lock it in place. Unfolding isn’t as easy as a snap it open type deal, but it’s easy enough with just pushing a side latch to make sure it’s locked in place. The wheels can be easily removed if that is causing the stroller to be too big to be put in an overhead airplane bin. What’s cool about this stroller is that it does have a telescoping handle so you can roll it behind you versus carrying it when not in use. However it does not appear to be able to stand on its own once folded down.The materials aren’t premium grade; for example, the canopy material is sort of lighter and crispy feeling, but it does offer substantial shade coverage. That material is also used throughout including the seating area so it won’t be luxurious feeling. The harness doesn’t seem like the highest quality either but it works and clicks together fine. The bumber bar seems a shade flimsy but it is easy enough to remove and reattach and should serve its function. The backrest pull tab could be designed better; it was a little difficult to pull it all the way back up to the seated position. The little peekaboo flap on the top is covered with a black thick weave mesh; so it’s not the best view to see your little one.The stroller maneuvers well and can make tight turns. Assembly was super easy; just snap in the wheels and you’re good to go. The instructions say the stroller weighs under 14lbs and is geared towards 0-3 year olds, being able to carry almost 50 lbs.This is a great option for travel both by air or by car, taking up less space in your trunk. It’s also great if you just don’t have enough space in your life for a larger stroller.All in all, it’s a functional stroller offering that coveted one-hand-fold, with the possibility of fitting in an overhead plane compartment at an affordable price.
