Neat little trick for quick, low mess smoothies!
This is one way to increase the amount of fruits and vegetables consumed on the daily. Rather than have to use the heavy (but dependable) huge glass blender, or the ultra fast (and ultra expensive) alternative, this portable blender gets the job done and can be rinsed clean in no time. I would say this is the sweet spot of blenders, providing enough power to properly crush ice and your hardier root vegetables like ginger, but almost as easy to clean as your average tumbler. It charges in relatively little time, takes no space, and the portability is amazing. If you have kids this will help you out tremendously when preparing their meals while on the go. At the same time, you too can benefit by being able to stop by your local farmer’s market (and after rinsing and cleaning the produce properly), you can make a smoothie right there where you stand. Nothing tastes fresher! Cleanup on the go is also a quick task to deal with, where you can use the blender itself to clean the inside with a bit of water and soap. Overall, I would love if kitchen appliances would start heading in this general direction, where portability and small size are preferred over huge appliances that are a pain to move. I very much like this mini blender, 100% recommend.

Budget friendly Blend Jet clone
Let’s face it. This is a budget Blend Jet. And that’s okay. It does what it is supposed to do. It works very well, in fact. I don’t use it enough to justify spending Blend Jet money. Build quality and battery life are good. Unless you’re a “brand name only” type or want the optional accessories Blend Jet offers, why not save a couple of bucks? You can buy more stuff to make smoothies with it. Maybe some protein powder. I’m happy with the budget version.

Nice portable mixer
I like that this is easy to clean, is relatively inexpensive, and is portable and rechargeable. I keep this at work so I can mix up fruit and protein smoothies. It works really well for getting my protein shakes mixed up and smooth. It’s definitely better than relying on a wire ball to mix it well in a shaker bottle. The blender does okay with fruits. It works like a typical blender that still leaves small fruit chunks. If you like that, this blender is perfect for fruit smoothies. Personally, I prefer completely smooth fruit in my drinks so this blender is just okay for me in that sense. I have a different product at home that gives me completely smooth fruit, so I like to do my fruit smoothies at home and just use this blender at work for my protein shakes. However, this does work in a pinch when I don’t have time to make my fruit smoothie at home.

A good practical blender
This blender is ‘no frills’ blender. It does not boast attachments, or several accessories, it’s just a simple …. blender. I was of the impression that it won’t be able to blend juice but it did. I was able to make yogurt ‘lassi’, shake with strawberry and milk, banana shake, although it is a bit hard to make a smoothie with ice, but smoothies can be made with crushed ice and it does the job well. The battery has kept going, and with one charge. I plan to keep it at my office for fresh shakes quick and easy.
