The Philips Avent Anti-colic nipple Flow 1 is the slowest-flow nipple in the range, which is great for newborns and breastfed babies learning to drink from a bottle.
The anti-colic valve integrated into the nipple is designed to keep air away from your baby’s tummy to reduce colic and discomfort. As your baby feeds, the valve flexes to allow air into the bottle to prevent vacuum buildup and vents it towards the back of the bottle. The nipple shape allows for a secure latch and the ribbed design helps prevent collapse for uninterrupted, comfortable feeding.
The anti-colic nipple is made of flavorless, odorless, soft, BPA-free silicone that resists discoloring and stickiness. Philips Avent bottle nipples are available in different flow rates to keep up with your baby’s growth. We recommend replacing nipples every 3 months for hygiene reasons.

These nipples are leak-free, excellent quality, and perfectly fit the Philips Avent bottles. My son is 5 months (3.5 adjusted) and he never chokes with this medium flow. I can safely feed him at night when he is sleepy and not have to worry.

Exactly what I needed! I felt so bad that I hadn’t moved up a flow for my baby until it was too late and he was getting frustrated not getting enough flow through the nipple. Ordered these, and they were here next day! I feel like they are a little pricey, but worth it! So easy to clean and function exactly as needed. Sometimes I get leakage from the cap, but not too often.
