What is the difference between a mineral sunscreen and chemical sunscreen?
Mineral sunscreen creates a barrier that deflects UV rays from the skin’s surface and stops them from penetrating. Standard, non-mineral sunscreens penetrate into the skin and absorb the sun’s rays, where they are converted into heat & then released.
What is squalane and what benefits does it add to sunscreen?
Squalene is a skin-moisturizing superhero all babies are born with, but it depletes over time. Our stable version, renewable, sugarcane-derived squalane, helps sunscreen glide on, adding weightless moisture to help bring natural balance to the skin.
Does the zinc sunscreen leave a white cast on skin and is this because it sits on TOP of skin to reflect harmful rays?
While our formula is designed to not leave a white cast on any skin color, all mineral sunscreens are unable to be completely clear as the zinc oxide sits on TOP of skin to reflect the rays. So depending on skin tone, it may appear slightly different
Can you use mineral sunscreen on a baby?
Because of their vulnerable skin, pediatricians recommend babies be kept out of the sun as much as possible for the first 6 months. After that, they can start wearing sunscreen for extra protection. Our formula is supremely gentle and non-irritating.
How best to use sunscreen?
Apply generously from head to tiny toes fifteen minutes before sun exposure. Reapply at least every 2 hours and use a water-resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating. Limit sun exposure especially from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Good sunscreen at a bargain price
Consider what this sunscreen has to offer – 6oz. container and 14% zinc oxide; then, compare to other spray sunscreens and see what their price is.This sunscreen sprays out moderately thick and more like an active sports spray sunscreen. It’s lightweight on the skin and easy to apply on the skin, including to facial hair / a beard. It is more on the water / sweat resistant side. There is a high noticeable white cast with this spray sunscreen. When I use a men’s face wash to wash it off, it does leave traces behind. I DO NOT vigorously wash off any sunscreen nor do I recommend anyone from doing so as well.I mainly use this sunscreen when I leave my gym and head home. I DO recommend to anyone looking for an affordable spray sunscreen.Although I am pleased to see this company finally offer a sunscreen in spray form, I still believe their lotion form is a superior product (easier to apply to the skin, not as much white cast, and more percentage of zinc oxide).

I like the brand, and the spray is convenient but it does not rub in well and does end up getting everywhere.shoes, car seat, back of our cars, all have white splatters still. Annoying, but also is kind of proof that it’s so long lasting and effective so it’s not a deal breaker.

Sun Protection Without the Wrestle Match
This sunscreen is a lifesaver for wriggly kids and impatient adults. It sprays on easily, rubs in without turning anyone into a ghost, and doesn’t smell like a science experiment. Gentle enough for baby skin but strong enough to survive a day of sun, sand, and chaos. Basically, it’s the sunscreen that doesn’t start a family argument — and that alone deserves five stars.

Very zinc-y, yet ineffective
While the branding is great, the product is incredibly ineffective. First of all, it is incredibly Zink. White residue will be everywhere — it is definitely not sheer. In addition, it is ineffective. Despite consistent application, the children still got burned.
