Easy to Use
Our 7 month old is on the move and this gate has been a huge help keeping her contained but also giving her space to roam. We have it in a fairly high-traffic area and the retractable feature has stayed strong through a lot of uses. Easy to install and fits our wide entryway perfectly.

Sturdy gate that attractive and functional
Great gate. Sturdy, easy to install, and attractive. They provide multiple hardware to mount it. The “lock” keeps the screen in place and is a very nice feature. We bought it to keep our pup out of the bedroom – and it’s working very well. It’s a prefect size. It is about 100 times better than the standard plastic monstrosities from the past… We’d buy another without hesitation.

Don’t even try to install with the dry wall anchors. Those things flew right out of the wall when challenged. I’d only purchase the product if I have reliable wood to screw into.Install was great. Its a perfect fit for my son’s doorway. Its wide enough to fit larger spaces also. Our cat doesn’t even try to jump over it. Its very sturdy and its very easy to use. You only have to use one hand to open or close it. It locks right in place. It was easy to install and is mounted right outside of his door. Well worth the money paid for it.

I was looking for something to help limit my young son’s access to the kitchen, and finding this helped me. He can no longer get into the kitchen because it’s made of resistant material, and it also has a safety lock so they can’t pull it on. It’s very firm, easy to install, and made of good material.

NOT MEANT FOR SMALL DOGS OR HOMES WITH BASEBOARD HEATERS. Terrible design. You can’t mount it anywhere that there’s a baseboard heater which is any wall that borders the outside of the house. In addition, you have to use these obnoxious rings that have to be stuck to the ground in order for your pet or child to not be able to sneak underneath. And even then, my 11lb shihchon still was able to sneak through. The rings then stay on the ground and we end up stepping on them all the time. The rings are also a terrible pain in inconvenience to attach and unattach.

This gate has been a life saver for me! I use it to block off my patio doors to my small unfenced condo yard as my dog and cats were constantly getting outside – opening that door was always a crap shoot. I used a lrge piece of cardboard for a while which helped but didn’t always keep them in. In fact, a few years ago, one cat got out and never came home 🙁 I had the screen screwed into the wall. It is secure, flush enough with the floor to keep the cats from scooting under (so far). I love it so much that I bought another one to block off my front door entry for the same reason! Highly recommend!
