We got the VTech Chomp and Count Dino for our toddler and it has been such a fun learning toy. He loves “feeding” the dinosaur the colorful food pieces and hearing the funny reactions. The toy recognizes each piece and talks about colors, shapes, foods, and numbers, so there’s a lot of language and learning built into playtime. It makes learning feel like a game, which is exactly what we wanted.The buttons, songs, and bright design keep his attention, and there are so many interactive features that he keeps discovering new things. The volume control is a big plus (especially for parents!), and the sound quality is clear. It’s sturdy, well-made, and holds up to daily play. We also like that it encourages fine motor skills and matching as he figures out which piece goes where.Overall, this is a wonderful toy for ages 1–3 and a great gift idea for birthdays or holidays. This toy keeps my 19 month old grand daughter entertained every single time she plays with it! She absolutely loves feeding the dino the coins, pushing the buttons, and hearing the sounds. Very sturdy, bright, and engaging without being overwhelming. Definitely one of her favorite toys and a great purchase for toddlers!

Great, but…
Has a lot of features, and seems to be of good quality. But there is a design feature flaw- the mouth on the dinosaur is very low, it is hard for the child to see the coin/food being inserted in the dinosaur’s mouth and going down the mouth. It would be better if the head was raised up a bit so that mouth is visible to children and they can see the coin going into mouth. Otherwise- ease of use, size, portability, etc are great.

Purchased my my nephew’s 1 year old birthday. He figured out the activities pretty quickly. He is fascinated with this item because there are multiple ways to make noise, activate movement and learn at the same time. Worth every penny!

This dinosaur toy for little ones is fantastic. The quality is excellent, with sturdy, safe materials that feel perfect for toddlers. It’s very engaging — when you “feed” it, it says the names of the foods, which makes playtime both fun and educational. The size is great for small hands, and it holds up well to everyday use.
