What is the best position for Zed on the mattress?
Zed should be placed near your baby’s feet or anywhere in the area as shown in the diagram above.
Why are there 6 different vibration modes?
There are a selection of speeds so you can find the one that works best on your particular mattress and soothes your baby the most effectively. Often the slower frequencies are more effective as they can travel further in the mattress.
Does Zed generate white noise?
Zed does not have a loudspeaker, but it does generate a low frequency sound around 50dB(A) similar to pink noise, which will also travel through the mattress.
What is the battery life for Zed?
We have tested Zed for up to 50 hours on one set of batteries. We recommend using good quality alkaline batteries or NiMH rechargeables. Please avoid Zinc batteries – make sure batteries are suitable for “high drain” applications.
Can I set the night light to stay on all night?
Yes. If you press the light button 4 times you will see 2 flashes of the light, this is the low light level which will stay on for 12 hours. Please note all vibration modes fade after one hour.
DIFFERENT VIBRATING MODES: Simply place Zed by your baby’s feet and select from 6 soothing vibration settings to discover the right virtual car ride for your baby. Vibrations ripple into the mattress, calming them and encouraging a deep slumber, improving their sleep and nap durations.
COMPATIBILITY: Zed works on every type of mattress, so you may use it with the Moses basket, cot, pram, bed, or even feeding cushion. Zed provides a familiar calming environment that you can take with you everywhere. Note that the vibration intensity may differ based on the mattress type. For instance, memory foam mattresses are intended to minimize motion transfer.
NIGHT LIGHT: Zed not only has car-like vibrations, but it also includes a night light with three relaxing red light settings to assist your baby’s sleep and eliminate the fear of darkness. It may also be used as a nursing light, a baby bedside lamp, a breastfeeding lamp, an ambience lamp, and so on.

AMAZING
WE LOVE IT.New mom here. You have to be patience with this little fella as your baby, specially if newborn, might at first ignore it. We tried to use it since day 1 and our baby just wouldn’t go to sleep or calm down. So we did not use it for the first 1 or 2 months.As time go by, and that it was a certainty that our baby slept with the car moving, we did try again Zed and it worked as a miracle. We went from co-sleeping (or more like sleeping on mommy) to sleeping on the crib. We did not have to phase it out, it just happened. I placed Zed on the 4 level (mimics car acceleration) and the little fella went straight to sleep. We now use it every night to help him sleep. It is not necessary to have it on all night. You can leave it for the 1 hour it lasts or just shut it off when baby is in deep sleep (which is what I do). I am about to buy my second Zed just to have 1 in the crib and the other to use while out of the house.Baterry does last, but it can feel it goes by pretty fast. I would strongly recommend to always have extra batteries and a screwdriver in handy just in case.

Great… while it lasts
The form factor and vibration were great for my infant’s bassinet, and it certainly helped them sleep. Unfortunately the vibration motor only lasted about 2 weeks. I contacted Rockit who graciously sent me an open box replacement for the cost of shipping. This one lasted about 3 weeks.Keep in mind the vibration has an auto-off feature so in general it saw about 3 hours of use daily at maximum. Lasting 6 months would be the absolute minimum I could handle. Less than a month is inexcusable. Buyer beware.

Red light feature for bassinets
This helped my daughter in her bassinet. The red light made her comfortable. The vibrations aren’t powerful enough so had to get a soothing mat

Life saver!
Battery has lasted 3 months already and vibration hasn’t waned. Love the nightlight and the multiple vibrating modes. Life saving purchase for a newborn!

Need a version with rechargeable battery
It’s a fantastic product but the batteries only last like 8-10 uses before being noticeably weaker. Changing the battery is tedious since you have to unscrew the back. Besides that it’s the best product in its class by far.

Starts out good, but too flawed to give 5 stars
The Zed initially worked well to help my child sleep. It is a subtle vibration, but it works. If my kid woke up, he kid could turn on the light himself which was comforting and helped him fall back asleep.The batteries only last two or three nights (even though it only runs for an hour at a time). The device itself stopped working after about three weeks. I got a replacement from Amazon, which worked well for about three weeks, and failed as well.My complaints are that it didn’t last very long and replacement had the same problem. It should be a USB rechargeable built-in battery that lasts longer than three nights. It’s very expensive for what it is.

Como tal El aparato funciona, emite una vibración con 6 niveles distintos bastante sutiles, pero entre eso y la luz roja parece que el bebé se relaja y se duerme. No sé si se duele sola o con ayuda del producto pero desde luego no le molesta. Estoy contenta con la compra.

Paid $80 back in July 2024 and now $56 (April 25) however with the sanity it’s provided I’m not too mad. My only criticism is a child lock would be great. Our little one now at 11 months presses the buttons so the lights go on, vibrate goes on again during her sleep when she plays and therefore the battery dies quicker. We’ve found rechargeable batteries are the way to go. Not sure if recommend but been fine in ours! The vibrate is less then I expected but for being next to a small human it’s probably suitable.
