Very sturdy
This gate works extremely well i use it for my toddler and so far it has not fell down and they have not been able to get over it. It had great height unlike other gates. The construction were a little confusing but once I figured it out I was able to put it together easily. Great value and a great gate!

perfect solution
A perfect solution! My kitty tends to be disruptive at night while people are trying to sleep. She will scratch at the bedroom doors and want to get in and, if allowed in, will not allow for a restful sleep for us humans.With this gate, I am able to restrict access to the hall that leads to the bedrooms and she is free to roam around the rest of the house. She is unable to jump over this gate but there is an extension piece available if needed for extra height.When installing the gate, it is important to accurately measure the hallway or doorway width so that the correct extension pieces are used. The unit comes with 3 extension bars and 2 spacer bars. Measure and choose the number of bars needed to fit the space and then follow the instructions. The diagrams in the manual and on the website provide a good visual of how to insert the bars. I used the pressure mount option, along with ICERO baby gate wall protectors from Amazon. The gate feels very secure with the pressure mount.I was pleasantly surprised with how smoothly this gate operates. The latch is very easy to open and close – no struggling with difficult locking devices. I like the auto close feature but it will also remain open if opened above 90 degrees. Of note, there is a small bar that is part of the frame that needs to be stepped over when entering/exiting. There are threshold ramps available on Amazon that can be used to allow smooth transition over the bar, preventing tripping, and can allow passage for a walker or wheelchair, though the actual passage space (21 inches) might be narrow for some walkers/wheelchairs.

Great idea
Using this to introduce my new cat to my resident cats. The peace of mind this gives me knowing they can’t fight (but can still see and smell each other) is so worth it. It was very easy to install and figure out. It’s nice and secure so I don’t have to worry about it falling over or somebody knocking it down. Very good quality and solid metal. Highly recommend.

Tall gate to keep my little jumper 🐶 out of trouble.
Seems to be well made. Sturdy, easy to operate even when carrying things. Set up was straight forward and I was able to do it by myself. I set up with tension and used wall protectors (also available on Amazon) to keep from damaging the walls. So far, so good.

This gate was pretty easy to setup and install. The only point of caution is that the bottom bar is fairly tall for something intended to be used at the top of stairs, I’ll have to be mindful but otherwise this is a pretty good gate.

Sturdy and strong gate
I brought home a new 1 yr old cat that is a real jumper and a baby gate did not work. This gate is terrific. It is sturdy, extremely easy to install, and assisting me in slowly introducing my two cats using the 3-3-3 method. I could not have done this form of training without the gate. I highly recommend this pet gate.

Good product-highly recommend.
This is a good product-this review would be five stars but this is the second one of these I ordered and the second one did not come with the plastic thresh-hold ramp that was supposed to be included. That feature makes the bar at the bottom of the gate less of a trip-hazard. Returning the whole gate just to get a complete product would be a hassle and there seems to be no way to request missing parts. But the product itself is very well-made and looks nice. I purchased the white 51” model. It is self closing and also stays open if you push it far enough. Latch is easy to operate, does not stick. Pretty easy to install and can be pressure-mounted or fixed. Easy to remove when pressure mounted. We like it, my clingy dog who likes to be underfoot constantly and monitor you in the bathroom hates it and I wish they made it easier to request missing parts.
