Decent sturdy gate for a good price
Got this to keep my baby nephew from going on the stairs. So far so good, he is pretty strong for a 1 year old but this gate has held up and seems sturdy. Was easy to set up and once the adults learned how to open and close the gate it was easy for everyone to use(adults). Also nice that if you open it 90° it will stay open, so when my nephew is not here we can leave the gate open. My brother in law liked it so much he might get one to keep my nephew out of the kitchen at their house. I also like that is is adjustable I needed at least 43″ to fit the stairs and most baby gates only went to like 39″. This gate seemed like the best option from the selection of gates that would fit the space I needed it to and for a decent price.

Very well made – specially designed to make the joints of 2 sections safe and strong. Easy to install. The only thing I wished, the door opening was little bigger.

DOES extend to 45+ inches
The exterior of the box may indicate otherwise, but this particular model includes two narrow and one wide extension, together with the hardware for attaching to staircase components.Seems stable and a gate is easy to open and shut. Moreover, if you extend it beyond 90° open it’ll stay fixed in the open position, which is very convenient when the baby is not around.

This is an operation easy to set up. Was better in a doorway than the stairs. My 1y/o grandson was able to shake it free several times.
