I LOVE THAT YOU CAN USE THE STICK TAPE OF SCREW THEM IN. IT WORKS BOTH WAYS SO I USUALLY USE THE DOUBLE STICKY TAPE TO PUT THEM WHERE A WANT THEM AND THE SCREW THEM IN ANYWAYS. THEYRE THE RIGHT THICKNESS AND WORKS WELL. HAS A STRONG HOLD. AND MY BABY HASNT FIGURED THEM OUT YET, WHICH IM THANKFUL FOR. IT PROTECT HER FROM THE CABBINETS I DONT WANT HER IN. I have a cat who opens cabinets. It was charming at first, until she got under my kitchen sink and somehow burst a container of dish soap refill. I had to give her a bath.It was not an experience either of us would like to repeat.This design is genius. It’s hidden from the outside, which is awesome, but also easy to use if properly installed, which is essential for something that will likely be used multiple times a day. Installation took less than thirty seconds per cabinet door.The screws aren’t strictly necessary but I opted for them because even though I rent, the screws are tiny enough that I doubt management will ever even notice them when I eventually move out in a few years.I expect some sulking from the cat when she realizes she’s been foiled, but I think we can all agree it’s for the best.

Great device. Heavy and strong plastic with steel spring mechanism that works smoothly, unlike other products that just bend the plastic. Adhesive is strong but can be removed without leaving any residue. Box of 12 is reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

Not strong enough for all children
I really liked these because of ease of install. They’re also out of sight. They worked on many cabinets and drawers. The only problem is with much force they can easily pop open or even break. This was better when we applied two to large drawers however this was not feasible in cabinet doors. I think they would work ok if your child is less interested in doors and drawers or not very strong. That’s just not the case for us.
