Work fantastic! Best cabinet lock I’ve found for cats!
I was seriously impressed by how well these worked! We couldn’t get our cats to stay out of our kitchen cabinets so we’ve been trying child safety locks to keep them out. We have old cabinets that are a very odd style so most traditional child safety locks weren’t working and the cats still got in. These did the trick! SUPER easy installation, completely hidden (no uglies in your kitchen!), and honestly I think the magnet system is easier to use than most of those other child safety locks. Seem to be super strong magnets. We did screw ours in for extra strength so I can’t comment on adhesive. Really well priced as far as child safety locks go

Works great against the fearless preschooler
I never bothered with locks before because I just didn’t put hazardous things in the lower cabinets. Then I caught the preschooler standing on the bathroom cabinet with the scissors that she had taken out of the medicine cabinet. These locks work great to keep her out. I bought 2 boxes and locked up everything. They have base plate that sticks to the wall to hold the key. I put it at my head height and away from anything she could climb on. Hopefully, this will work until she has a better sense of self preservation.

Randomly locks doesn’t stay locked
did not work for me, I put it as instructed but it didn’t lock so I put it on vertically and it didn’t make a difference. I noticed one out of the four i put did lock but randomly and could be easily be pulled open. I got too frustrated to try anymore and had to return.

Difficult to install
These work great once installed, but were very difficult to install into cabinets without double doors. Trying to align the catch with the magnetic part was super tricky. I’m not sure how else it might be done.One nice thing is that it includes two magnets, in case you lose one.Overall the quality is very good, they feel solid and not cheap.

This is a great option for baby-proofing cabinets. It mostly comes with everything you need. The hardware mounts with a sticky tape and it comes with small screws to secure it to the cabinets. Our package came with screws that had a flat tip, so I ran to the hardware store and bought a similar size screw that would screw into the wood cabinets a bit easier. It wasn’t a big deal, but the screws included wouldn’t work, unless you pre-drill holes in your cabinets.

Perfect finishing touch
I made a cabinet a couple… actually a few years ago… and always meant to add magnet locks but never got around to it. Found these while browsing and they are the perfect finishing touch. Now my doors stay closed and all it cost me was a few bucks and a few minutes to finallllly finish my cabinet. So far they are working great.
