Absolutely a life saver.
Absolutely a life saver. Ok checks the temp that’s cool but guess what the temp isn’t the same all over the tub. And this little duck picks up on it. Definitely a must have for any new parent. And this was has a warning flasher and displays the temp. Also turns off after not detecting water which my adhd loves!

Duck toy + thermometer
This is a great addition to your bathtub toy collection. It’s dual functional in that your child will appreciate the friendly duck and you can use it to monitor the bath temperature. The display is easy to read, the temperature reading seemed accurate though slow and seemed water resistant with no signs of water intrusion. This is a decent value and I recommend it.

Good, but still room for improvement.
Pros:+ It turns on automatically in water, which is awesome.+ It supports C/F (and everyone knows the F is for FREEDOM)+ There’s a warning light that emits blue or orange-red, blue for older the cold range you set, orange-red for the hot ceiling you set. If you set the hot limit a little below your actual target temp, you can just keep the hot going until it just hits that and lights up, and then you’re perfect on temp.Areas for Improvement:- It’s made of plastic, not rubber or silicone, so it’s a lot harder than I’d like for a bath toy that babies play with.- The balance and center of mass are off, making it really easy to flip over onto its head with just a little bit of water movement. It doesn’t self-right, as the head is too heavy, making it take even more force to flip it back up than to flip it upside down in the first place. This exposes the temp probes, causing it to read cold when that happens. When the bathtub is filling, if the flowing water flips over the duckie, then it’s easy to overheat the tub.- Sometimes the inside of the screen fogs up, and was doing this very early on. This means it wasn’t vacuum sealed, or at some point the vacuum seal broke.- You’re supposed to do baby’s night bath time with the lights not super bright. This makes it so the low contrast screen is not always the easiest to read. Adding that old-school screen glow would have made it significantly better.

Bath Time Temp Buddy
Cute little duck that helps you make sure bath water is never too hot or too cold. You get a clear digital reading plus a flashing red light if the temperature goes outside the safe range and very easy to use. The default upper limit is around 102, but you can adjust it if you prefer the water slightly warmer. I tested it against another thermometer and it was spot with accuracy right out of the box. Great value for peace of mind and keeping your little ones safe during bath time.

This Jarmapoz bath thermometer rubber ducky has an included battery and does not have a master on/off switch but turns on with a press of any button. It turns off automatically after 15 minutes of inactivity in air or 40 minutes of inactivity in water. A metal sensor on the bottom measures the water temp. There is a button to change between Celsius or Fahrenheit temperature scale, so have no worry about being able to choose the one familiar to you.This smart duck has a red LED light go on with the water is too hot, or the LED shines blue if the water is too cold. I tested by setting the ducky in water I’d heated in the microwave which the temperature readout said was 134 degrees F, and its red alert light soon came on when placed in that water. There are pre set heat alert and cold alert temperatures or there is also a set button where apparently you can set your own preferred temperature for it to alert at.The included battery in this is not rechargeable but it is replaceable fortunately! Too many devices are just throw-aways when the battery dies, but not this one. No replacement batteries are included but there are instructions to replace the LR44 button battery with a replacement you obtain separately. The replaceable battery makes this a better value than it might otherwise be.I like the traditional yellow rubber duck looks. It’s cute. So far it seems to work. I think it’s a fair value at $12.99. Rubber ducky, you’re the one, you make my bathtime lots of fun!
