Absolutely amazing!
Ok, so my kids are both adults now, but I realized that a baby monitor would solve a different problem for me. I do astrophotography, and, living in a city, it can be a little nerve wracking running into the house to grab something or go to the bathroom or just get warm for a second. Leaving several thousand dollars of astronomy gear just sitting out there is a risky affair, but my wife isn’t always available to stand guard for me. I decided to give this little gem a surprise, and boy, am I ever satisfied!Features: So, I couldn’t even begin to share all the features this baby monitor has. I would have loved to have something like this when my kids were babies, but back then we had to make due with an audio monitor. This thing does everything I want it to do and more. It can zoom, allowing me to zero in on just the area I’m concerned about while providing me with great freedom in camera placement location. It has motion sensing that can be adjusted easily for sensitivity, and can be set to automatically wake up and alarm on motion. It has audio monitoring that is incredibly sensitive at its most sensitive setting, but easily adjustable and allows for 2 way communication (with which I plan to scare to death anyone that gets close to my gear). It has outstanding resolution, even in the dark. In daylight, the colors are remarkable on the included screen. The handheld screen allows you to control all the features with ease, and I can both listen in and watch what is going on around my camera. It can also, as I understand it, allow for viewing on your phone, but the handheld screen is super-convenient and allows me to make any adjustments quickly and easily, so I haven’t tried that function.Ease of use: For having so many features, this thing is ridiculously simple to use. It’s actually quite intuitive. I was able to figure out all the basic features I wanted (and more) in just a few minutes of playing with it.Connectivity: It has great range. My home is brick, and I worried about connectivity, especially if I had to run downstairs (below grade) or to the other side of the house. I’ve not lost signal once yet, anywhere on my property (a standard suburban city lot). Not so much as a blip.Battery life: While most people would plug the camera into the wall using a USB adapter, my use case required a different approach. I’ve powered the camera using a high-capacity USB power bank, and it’s gone for hours and barely made a dent in the charge. It sips electricity. I’ve kept the screen going for hours as well on a single charge, and it charges back up reasonably quickly, plus there is the backup option of your cell phone if needed.Overall assessment: I honestly couldn’t be more pleased with this. It does everything I want, and more, and does it all extremely well. While my use case may be a bit unique, I remember having babies and would have absolutely loved having something like this. I absolutely, positively recommend it without reservation!

Really sturdy with the Dr.Care Baby Monitors and routable cable is a nice touch
I got this for a couple reasons, 1 the Dr.Care baby monitors don’t pick up audio from far away too well, especially with the white noise playing. Second, the version of cameras (VistaView https://www.amazon.com/Dr-Care-VistaView-Monitor-Cameras-Security/dp/B0F9X31ZDP) do not allow for it to see down all the way when placed high, so having the bassinet close to a tall armoire doesn’t work out so well. This solves that problem.Add a 25 ft USB-A to USB-C cable and now you can put this pretty much anywhere in your room. I need to get this combo again for another room in our house so we don’t need to lug it up and down the stairs.The boom arm is flexible and allows for positioning right over the baby and the telescoping functionality lets it adjust for any height you’d need there as well.The multiple options for mounting is useful, but note you cannot overtighten the screws because they just spin in the base. Not really an issue, because the camera shouldn’t shake loose. But you should also check the screws periodically if you move it often.The base looks sharp and it’s overall pretty nice looking in the room. Routing the cable makes it look a bit neater and help with the trip hazard of going directly from the camera to the wall.

Amazing quality baby video monitor that is super easy to setup
The quality of video compared to 7 years ago is astounding. We had a similar setup with video monitoring for my daughter 7 years ago and we loved that device which was a brand name from baby’s R us. We now have a 9 month old and took it back out to use, and wonder how in the world we ever could tell what was on the screen. Everything was grainy and pixelated.Then we used the Dr. Care VistaView and felt like we had put on glasses and our world view changed. Everything is crip and clear, even the infrared night vision. I feel like it was going from a CRT TV to a 4k TV as the difference is astounding. We now take this with us everywhere we go as it is so easy to set up and we can see everything. The battery life on the video monitor is really good and we don’t have to recharge it that often.The video monitor has a very good range and we can take it outside and not have any connection issues. We have used this in a 5,000 square foot home with no dead spots despite the baby being in the far edge of one side of the house in the basement.The one issue i have with this device is that there is no dedicated volume button. You have to go through the settings to adjust the volume which is not ideal. If the baby is sleeping in a dark room you are in and you want to see if they are asleep you better hope you don’t have the volume turned up and get any feedback.

Works great with good picture quality
Works great with low latency. Picks up very quiet noises. The motion detector is too sensitive for me on any setting tho. The picture quality is great. The recording function only works with the app. It’s very slow to turn. The talking feature is mid at best. I can pick up voices but to understand them they have to talk loud enough for me to hear them from my room lol. It’s never had connection issues and as soon as it’s plugged it it’ll reconnect. It looks better in person than the picture shows. Idk why I can’t get a good pic of the video feed

J’avais eu un petit problème avec la caméra “tâche dans l’objectif”. Le service relation client de Dr Care et particulièrement Lucy, à été d’une très très grande efficacité et a tout mis en œuvre pour résoudre mon problème, jusqu’à me remplacer la caméra, sans que je le demande. Vendre des articles de qualité est important, mais savoir garder ses clients, est aussi très important, et le service relation clients de Dr Care a ce petit plus qui fait la différence.Un petit mot sur le babyphone. Je ne suis pas l’utilisateur principal, je l’ai acheté pour l’offrir. J’ai l’habitude de comparer les matériels, de chercher des tests, pas toujours objectifs.La personne voulait une connexion avec ou sans wifi, beaucoup de marque le propose.Pourquoi j’ai choisi cette marque et se modèle…- le suivi de mouvement, quand je me suis renseigné beaucoup de personnes m’ont dit “ils l’ont tous” Faux. L’alerte mais pas toujours le suivi. Et pour la petite histoire, la personne qui l’utilise a un chat et quand celui-ci entre dans le champ de la caméra = alerte et suivi. Ce n’est pas l’utilité, pour le chat évidemment, mais avoir un “l’oeil en plus”- peu en parle, mais vraiment un plus pour moi, la batterie amovible de l’écran. Je ne sais pas combien de temps va durer la batterie, mais qui n’a pas “jeté” son téléphone à cause d’une batterie hs. L’écran n’ayant pas de système d’exploitation, celui-ci devrait durer longtemps.- le mode privé de la caméra un plus pour rassurer les personnes. Mais un petit reproche, devoir passer par le menu pour l’activer. Une touche ou un raccourci “on/off” aurait été plus pratique.- certains regrettes que la caméra soit toujours branchée, qu’une batterie aurait été mieux. C’est à mon avis un plus, qui n’est jamais tombé en panne de batterie… Ça n’arrive pas qu’aux autres et toujours au mauvais moment. Par contre, une batterie de secours, en cas de coupure de courant par exemple, un plus rassurant pour les utilisateurs.- une petite parenthèse pour la vision nocturne, top, même le chat est pris en flagrant délit…Pour les autres fonctions, veilleuse et mélodies, je me suis fait plaisir. Mais dans les chambres d’enfants il y a des veilleuses et des mélodies. D’accord, mais pouvoir les allumer et éteindre à distance je trouvais ça sympa.Pour la qualité d’image et de l’appareil, j’ai quand même fait confiance aux utilisateurs, que je remercie.Je pense que la personne qui l’utilise sera encore plus contente de la qualité du produit et de la marque quand je lui donnerai la caméra de remplacement.Un grand Merci à Lucy du service relation clients de Dr.Care.

Setup is a straightforward process, with the camera and monitor pairing seamlessly once powered on. A major highlight for me is the ability to pan, tilt, and zoom, which offers far more flexibility than other models I’ve used. The system also supports a second camera, allowing for coverage in another room or a different angle in the same space.The compact monitor provides a clear display and decent audio, but you can additionally use a mobile app to monitor the feed while away from the house. I noticed minimal lag when using the app, which is impressive. In dark conditions, the built-in infrared lighting ensures the image remains clear and bright, even in complete darkness. It also features reliable movement alerts, which is a very useful addition for peace of mind.Overall, this is a very good quality, well-made bit of kit that performs exceptionally well. While the price is a touch on the expensive side at just under £100, the performance and build quality make it a very useful and recommended investment.
