Good glass choice
This was such a great buy. Very easy to use and love that it has a glass container for cooking and blending. Perfect size for portion control and it doesn’t take too much space and very good quality.

Great results but not very practical
I am really on the fence with this product so I think it would be best to list the pros/cons.The pros:- The parts are dishwasher safe.- This item creates a very smooth, appealing consistency- The included containers are adorable! They lock together either sideways or on top of one another- The included silicone mold is great as well, making it easy to freeze small portions- The machine acts as a double broiler, leaving the food and all of the nutrients in a container separate from the cooking water- Well-made and appears that it would stand up to prolonged useThe cons:- It’s necessary to cut ingredients very small (“less than 1 centimeter cubes) before adding to the machine- Even though it is dishwasher safe, there are a lot of pieces to clean after use- The blender piece has very SHARP blades. Covers are included, but are a little tedious to put on. My concern would be an older child getting their hands on it while it’s drying, etc.My experience in using this product left me with mixed feelings. I’m sure there are great uses for this product- hotels, or maybe if someone is without a stove. Again, the final product is excellent- it just takes a lot of time/work to make a very small amount so it’s just not very practical. For the price ($99.99 at the time of this review), I honestly think that there would be more value in investing in an immersion blender instead. Then just boil or steam the food on a stovetop. This would allow for a much larger quantity to be made and stored. I do not, however, have a great answer for any nutrient loss from these cooking methods.All in all, this is a great product and I’m sure I will continue to use it. The practicality of it just leaves a lot to be desired.

I bought this because I got tired of using a regular blender for baby food and then scrubbing it like I had made soup for a construction crew. This machine is much better sized for actual baby portions and does not make the whole task feel bigger than it needs to be. The glass bowl is one of the main reasons I picked it, since it feels sturdier and easier to clean than plastic containers that eventually start looking questionable. It also has a cleaner, more polished look on the counter, which is nice since baby gear already takes over enough space. The compact size helps keep it practical.The steaming and blending setup works well for soft fruits and vegetables, and the auto cooking feature keeps things simple. I have used it for apples, peas, carrots, and sweet potatoes, and it handled all of those without much drama. The blades do a good job getting things smooth, though texture still depends a bit on how much liquid you add. The bowl is definitely meant for smaller amounts, which works if you are making fresh puree often but not if you are trying to batch prep like a baby food mogul. Still, for daily use, it is convenient and easy to manage.I also appreciate that it does not take a hundred steps to use. Sleep deprived people do not need more buttons, they need fewer problems. The self cleaning function is helpful for the first pass, and cleanup after that is pretty manageable. The timer gives a little flexibility without overcomplicating things. Overall it is a practical little machine for parents who want homemade baby food without turning every puree into an event.

Still made of plastic
Only the food bowl is glass. The water reservoir where the water gets heated is plastic, which is still a big concern when steaming hot water. I thought the whole thing is glass.
